Visio International

Our international projects focus mostly on knowledge exchange and innovation. They serve as platforms for educators and professionals from different backgrounds to work together, share ideas, and foster a deeper understanding of common challenges related to visual impairment.

Most projects are funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme. We work with academic partners on research programmes funded through the EU’s Marie Curie initiative. We also engage with other funding programmes to broaden our reach and impact.

These initiatives underscore our commitment to creating a more interconnected world and working together to benefit people with visual impairments.

Current projects

Our current projects focus on developing educational materials for persons who are blind or visually impaired, and research on functional vision and glaucoma.

We collaborate with national organizations for the blind and visually impaired, non-government organizations, private companies, universities and schools in the European Union, elsewhere in Europe, and in Australia and the USA.
