Three-dimensional printing is becoming increasingly popular and accessible. The 3D4VIP project developed guidelines for designing and printing 3D materials for students with a visual impairment. The project also delivered recommendations for designing and 3D printing with students themselves. As part of the project the website Tactiles.eu was set up. Here, all this information to enhance and support the learning experience of visually impaired students is collected.

Tactiles.eu offers a wide range of models for various subjects, including mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, history, geography, and braille, as well as models that assist with navigating traffic or even playing games. All models available on the platform are free of charge.

The website also allows users to upload tactile drawings to be used alongside the 3D models in lessons. A section of the website has instructional videos about 3D printing.
